A teacher at an elite girls’ high school in Victoria has been charged with possessing child pornography.
Maths teacher Matthew Ronald Saada, 30, of Catholic Ladies’ College Eltham was arrested and charged last week.
An IT staff member allegedly found inappropriate images on Mr Saada’s laptop, The Herald Sun reports.

Victoria Police confirmed to Daily Mail Australia the Hillside man was charged as part of an ongoing investigation.
The 30-year-old was charged with one count of knowingly possessing child pornography.
Parents were informed of the incident in a letter sent by school principal Stephanie Evans.
Ms Evans said the school referred the matter to police immediately and ‘removed the individual from contact with students and suspended from work’.

‘The matter has also been referred to the Commission for Children and Young People and the Victorian Institute of Teachers,’ the letter read.
Mr Saada was placed on bail to appear at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on April 2.
