Ellen DeGeneres seen for first time since tWitch’s death as she and Portia de Rossi visit new home

Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi were spotted checking out renovations to their home in Santa Barbara Friday.

It was the first time the former talk show host had been seen since learning of the tragic loss of her friend, DJ Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, who died by suicide Monday. 

Following news of the former executive producer of The Ellen DeGeneres Show’s passing, the Emmy winner tweeted that she was ‘heartbroken’ and grieving the star, who she described as ‘pure love and light.’

Just days later, Ellen, 64, and Portia, 49, were seen driving up a winding road to their $70 million oceanfront estate in a black Porsche. 

The Dirt reports the 10-acre property is located in the town of Carpinteria. It is the largest real estate deal to ever take place in Santa Barbara county

Dozens of workers were seen on the expansive property where signs of renovation were clearly taking place.

The Tuscan style house is more than nine-thousand square feet and  boasts five bedrooms and eight bathrooms on three levels.

Inside there are high exposed wood-beam ceilings, hardwood floors, stone archways and marble accents.

The master suite a master comes with a spa-equipped terrace, and dual walk-in closets and baths, so Ellen and Portia will have plenty of room.

A video for the property previously known as The Sanctuary at Loon Point shows the land is laced with olive trees and has several hot tubs and an outdoor kitchen.
