Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have sold their sprawling California mansion for a whopping $96 million.
The TV personality bought the 10-acre property in the town of Carpinteria in 2022 for $70 million, marking the largest real estate deal ever in Santa Barbara County.
Property records obtained by the Wall Street Journal show she sold the blufftop home for $96 million less than two years later to an entity tied to mining magnate Robert Friedland.
When DeGeneres bought the Tuscan-style mansion in star-studded Carpinteria, the home boasted more than 9,000 square feet, five bedrooms and eight bathrooms over three levels.
The home included high exposed wood-beam ceilings, hardwood floors, stone archways and marble accents.

Located near Santa Barbara and Montecito, the estate features a private beach near the bluff.
Carpinteria is also home to stars like Kevin Costner and filmmaker George Lucas
DeGeneres and Friedland appeared to swap homes, with records showing the celebrity couple paid $32 million to buy back a Santa Barbara home they sold to him earlier this year for the same amount.

The circa-1919 home sits on about eight acres. The couple bought a vacant three-acre lot next door from another seller for $6 million.
In July, DeGeneres announced she is ‘done’ with showbiz once her Netflix special drops.
The 66-year-old comedian is in the midst of her farewell tour Ellen’s Last Stand… Up, the final shows of which will be filmed for the streaming service.
She last toured in 2018, four years before her daytime talk show ended amid a blizzard of allegations about its ‘toxic’ work environment.
Onstage in Santa Rosa last month, she discussed her exit from the spotlight and joked that she will next be canceled for being ‘old, gay and mean’, according to SFGate.

When questioned if she might return sometime in the future, she firmly shut down the possibility.
‘This is the last time you’re going to see me. After my Netflix special, I’m done,’ DeGeneres said of her upcoming one-hour special filming this fall.
‘Let me catch you up on what’s been going on with me since you last saw me,’ she told the audience in Santa Rosa.
‘I got chickens. Oh yeah, and I got kicked out of show business for being mean.’
