But now the Bottle Cap Challenge is the latest viral craze to hit the Internet, and it has been readily accepted by an array of able bodied celebrities.
The challenge, which requires participants to spin-kick the cap from a bottle, was started by UFC fighter Max Holloway after accepting the challenge from Errolson Hugh.

The singer went on to nominate female friends Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Christine and the Queens, Lynn Ban and Cassandra Gracey.

Elsewhere Jason Statham did a spin kick and managed to remove the loosened cap – although he did not reveal how many takes it had taken to get the impressive footage.
The British actor shared the slow motion video to Instagram before passing the challenge on to close friend Guy Ritchie and former MMA fighter James Moontasri.
Captioning the post, he wrote: ‘#bottlecapchallenge #challengeaccepted @erlsn.acr This thing landed on my head from @johnmayer but will quickly go to a couple of fellas we’ve seen do push ups badly. All yours @guyritchie and @jmoontasri.’
Despite the playful jibe, Moontasri wasted no time in successfully removing the top from a bottle of olive oil. He admitted it took two takes but he also did it whilst holding a dachshund.
