Ellie Goulding smiles on stroll with son Arthur, two, – after ending ‘friendship’ with Tory peer Zac Goldsmith to focus on marriage to Caspar Jopling

Ellie Goulding was in good spirits as she stepped out with her two-year-old son Arthur for a stroll on Monday morning.

It comes after the singer, 36, recently called off her increasingly close friendship with Tory peer Zac Goldsmith and was then seen out with her husband Caspar Jopling. 

For her outing she dressed down in a black jumper, leggings and a warm beanie hat while pushing the pram.

She beamed away while sipping on a juice and chatting to one of her pals who had joined her out and about.  

Ellie completed her look with comfortable trainers and appeared to go makeup free.  

It comes after last week Ellie sparked rumours she was back with her husband Caspar, 31, as they made a glum appearance together.

It came after she called off her increasingly close friendship with Tory peer Zac.

Our exclusive picture showed the newly reunited couple looking glum as they walked – some distance apart – through West London.

They opted not to hold hands, and neither were wearing their wedding rings.

The distance between them was in contrast to when Ms Goulding was seen walking close to Lord Goldsmith, 48, near his £3 million mansion in West London last month.

The pair had developed a relationship over their shared passion for tackling climate change and they grew close following the breakdown of Lord Goldsmith’s marriage to his second wife, Alice Rothschild, after ten tears.

The friendship had been described as an unlikely one as Lord Goldsmith is the Eton-educated son of late billionaire financier Sir James Goldsmith, while Ms Goulding grew up on a council estate in Herefordshire.

They first met at the COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow in November 2021.

Seven months later they were spotted enjoying a lunch together at upmarket café The Garden in Covent Garden and were later seen at The Wolseley restaurant in Mayfair.

In October last year they were at the same party at the exclusive London members’ club 5 Hertford Street and just weeks later they were reunited for the next climate change summit, COP27, in Egypt.

But the Daily Mail revealed last week that Ms Goulding had chosen to stop spending time with Zac to focus on saving her marriage.
