Elliott Wright banned James Argent from wedding photos

He exchanged vows with new wife Sadie Stuart in front of 400 close friends and family members.

But Elliott Wright forbade James ‘Arg’ Argent from appearing in any official photos after rapidly losing patience with his former The Only Way Is Essex co-star’s apparent tardiness during the build up to his special day.

Speaking to the latest issue of OK! as he shared shots from their wedding, Elliott, 35, reveals he was furious with closest friend Arg, 29, for failing to miss scheduled appointments crucial to his pivotal role as groomsman.

Not happy: Elliott Wright tells OK! he forbade James ‘Arg’ Argent from appearing in any official photos from his wedding to new wife Sadie Stuart after rapidly losing patience with his former The Only Way Is Essex co-star’s apparent tardiness during the build up to their special day

He explained: ‘I banned him from being in the official pictures because he p***ed me off before the wedding! He didn’t bother to go to his suit fitting so on the day it didn’t fit him properly.

‘We had a bit of an argument over it because to me it’s an honour to be asked to be a groomsman and I was annoyed he didn’t take it seriously.’

Despite his irritation, Elliott’ wedding to long-term partner Sadie was a magical affair, conducted at St George’s Church in Bickley, south east London.

But the usually assured TV personality admitted he was overcome with nerves as he prepared for Sadie to walk down the aisle.

‘I was shaking because I was so nervous,’ he recalled. ‘As soon as the church went silent and I knew she was about to walk in it felt like my heart was falling through my pants.

‘I lost all sense of calm and my breathing became really heavy. It was like I was about to give birth!’

While Elliott was wracked with nerves, Sadie admitted she was more concerned about making her loved ones proud.

‘Walking down the aisle was so emotional for me too but I was more worried about my dad as I’m the only girl in our family so it was a huge moment for him,’ she said.

‘It wasn’t until I got to the front and saw Elliott that I thought, “Oh my God, we’re actually doing this.”‘

Appearing on the latest cover of OK!, Sadie looks stunning in a traditional white bridal gown as she holds a small floral bouquet, while Elliott looks typically dapper in a smart two-piece suit.

Marbella based Elliott previously confessed to being supportive of cousin Mark Wright’s decision to miss the wedding due to work commitments with TV show Extra in Los Angeles.

He told MailOnline: ‘He’s had the opportunity of a lifetime, we’re very close, very close, as close can be and when Mark rang me up to talk about the LA move I said “these opportunities don’t come round very often”‘.

‘I said “if you cant make it to my wedding then that’s unfortunately one of the things you’re gonna have to take the hit on”. If he can [attend] I”ll be over the moon but if he can’t I accept that’s how it is and I’m proud of him.

‘I can’t knock him, I’m very supportive and I’m very proud of him and if he can be at our wedding then fantastic. If he cant I know he’ll be upset but it’s a career choice and I accept it.’
