Elsa Pataky praises husband Chris Hemsworth as Thor star gets Hollywood Walk Of Fame star: ‘We are so proud of you’

Elsa Pataky praised her husband Chris Hemsworth on Saturday after his Hollywood Walk Of Fame star was unveiled.

The Spanish actress, 47, shared a photo of herself and the Thor star at the unveiling to Instagram and expressed how ‘proud’ she is of her man.

‘We are so proud of you my love @chrishemsworth. And your words meant the world to me,’ she wrote, referring to his speech.

‘Congratulations on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star.’

Chris was all smiles as he was joined by twin sons Sasha and Tristan, daughter India Rose, 12, and wife Elsa, 47, to celebrate his incredible contributions to motion pictures on Thursday.

Chris and Elsa tied the knot during the Christmas holidays in 2010.

The couple live in a $30million mansion in Broken Head near Byron Bay after relocating from Los Angeles to Australia nine years ago.

In 2021, Elsa revealed that she and Chris have a very simple trick for keeping their marriage happy and healthy – laughter.

Speaking to Hola! magazine, she said said that the Thor actor has a knack for diffusing any argument with a joke.   

‘We enjoy doing the same stuff and Chris has a great sense of humour and knows how to take the sting out of things,’ she said.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an internationally recognised sidewalk attraction in Los Angeles and features stars embedded with the names of celebrities honoured for their achievements in the entertainment industry.

Several other Australia and New Zealand actors have been awarded a star, including Nicole Kidman, Eric Bana, Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett and Simon Baker.

‘We are proud to honour Hemsworth with a well-deserved star. Chris is known for his remarkable performances that have captivated audiences worldwide,’ a statement from the organisation read.

‘Along with his many fans, I am sure his fellow Australians will be so happy to know that we are adding another talented Aussie to our iconic Walk of Fame.’
