The deadline to post your vote in the Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey is October 27.
And Sir Elton John has urged Australians to say yes on their postal survey slips in an emotional video message on Thursday via YouTube.
The 70-year-old threw his star power behind the Vote Yes Campaign: ‘Let’s not be an exception here in Australia, please say yes when your chance to vote arrives, this is after all the 21st century!’

He looked down the camera delivering his message while wearing a pair of glitzy glasses, rhinestone-covered jacket and bright red shirt.
Elton opened with: ‘Will you vote yes? It is a vote for freedom, in a world where freedoms of all kinds have been hard fought and should not have been taken for granted.’
‘Every individual needs to have their personal freedom and to live their lives as they see fit.’

The video was uploaded by YesFest, a national music festival in support of marriage equality due for October 29 in Sydney.
Elton had denied to perform at the upcoming event, due to conflicting touring commitments, but decided to share his personal message of support via the clip.

The headliners of the festival include Client Liason, Megan Washington, Jimmy Barnes, Killing Heidi and Flight Facilities.
Jimmy Barnes previously took to Twitter to announce his involvement: ‘I’ll be jumping up on stage for a couple of songs at #YesFest in support of Marriage Equality on Oct 29.’
He also said: ‘When I was asked to do this show I jumped at the chance to say Yes because I believe in marriage equality… Love is love and if you are lucky enough to find the one you love, why should anyone be able to tell you-you can’t get married.’
The Bachelor’s Osher Gunsberg will be hosting the musical festival.
