Embarrassing moment a hoon doing burnouts flips his ute on to its roof – right in front of police

A driver’s burnouts ended in embarrassing failure when his ute ended up on its roof in the middle of the road.

The vehicle was pictured lying stranded in the middle of Greenwood’s Canham Way in Perth after performing burnouts this afternoon.

Paul Range, who works on the street, said the incident played out about 3.45pm.

The police and fire fighters were called to where the car flipped out while doing burnouts

His said he believed the driver lost control while performing burnouts before clipping a kerb and flipping the car, perthnow.com.au reported.

Mr Range said such behaviour was rare for the street and it was fortunate there were no parents dropping kids at the karate school next door

He posted the pic to the Perth’s Worst Drivers Facebook group

‘You gotta be a good driver to put it on its lid in a 50 zone,’ one commenter posted.

‘Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down,’ said another while person added: ‘The car is sleeping.’

WA Police are yet to say whether any charges have been laid.
