Emile Smith Rowe got off to a flying start at Fulham by scoring a diving header on his debut in a friendly against Sevilla.

After completing a £27million move from Arsenal on Friday, Smith Rowe linked up with the Fulham squad at their pre-season training camp in Portugal.

The 24-year-old featured as a substitute against Sevilla in the Algarve and scored with an excellent header after latching onto a cross from Antonee Robinson.

Smith Rowe was congratulated by his team-mates, including Alex Iwobi, who he played with at Arsenal.

A brace from Isaac Romero in the first half had put Sevilla in the lead before Smith Rowe reduced the deficit.

Smith Rowe was eager for a fresh start following a frustrating end to his 14-year spell at Arsenal.

The Hale End academy graduate made 115 senior appearances for Arsenal and scored 18 goals, while he provided 13 assists.
