Emily Blunt admitted to losing her cool the first time she met Dwayne Johnson while promoting their new film Jungle Cruise on Wednesday on a CBS talk show.
The 38-year-old English actress while appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert was asked by Stephen, 57, if she had met Dwayne, 49, before filming the Disney movie.
Emily said she met Dwayne after he called for a dinner with producers probably ‘to see if I was all right’.

‘I was quite nervous to meet him, I have to say,’ Emily admitted.
She added that she knows the ‘rules of meeting a famous person’ and noted that she’s also married to actor John Krasinski, 41, who also is ‘very visible’.
‘I know the ground rules. Keep your trap shut, keep it discreet and just blend in as much as you can,’ Emily said.
‘He walks in and I heard myself just go, ”Heyyy!”,’ Emily said as she tossed her arms out and made a funny face.

‘Like that. I didn’t know what I was doing,’ she added.
Stephen noted that most action stars in real life aren’t that big, but Dwayne bucks the trend.
‘He’s enormous,’ Stephen said.

‘I would walk next to him and people would take pictures of us walking next to each other on set. And I looked like his child. Like his tiny child,’ Emily said.
Emily shared a clip from the movie and revealed that she laughed during every take of the scene.
‘You can literally hear me laughing at the end of it as I run off screen, there was not one where I wasn’t laughing,’ Emily said.
Jungle Cruise is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 30 in theaters and on Disney+ with premiere access.
