Emily Blunt shines bright as she reunites with Oppenheimer costars Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. at the 96th Oscars Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills

Emily Blunt cut a fashionable figure during the 96th Oscars Nominees Luncheon, which was held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

The 40-year-old actress donned a nearly monochromatic outfit while posing for a few snaps at the star-studded affair, which took place just a month before the biggest night in Hollywood.

The performer – who was cleaning up after her dog when she learned about her Oscar nomination – was also joined by her costars from Oppenheimer, Robert Downey Jr. and Cillian Murphy, during the event.

Blunt donned a dark blue button-up shirt that featured oversized sleeves as she spent time on the luncheon’s red carpet.

The star of A Quiet Place paired her top with near-matching pants, which flared out at their bottom portions.

The actress added elements of shine to her look with a pair of sparkling gold earrings, and her blonde locks complemented the dark shade of her clothing.

Blunt has been put up for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Katherine Oppenheimer in Oppenheimer, which was released last July.

The feature was centered on the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer and followed him as he helped develop the atomic bomb and subsequently had his professional reputation ruined during his 1954 security hearing.

Murphy starred as the theoretical physicist, while Downey Jr. portrayed governmental official Lewis Strauss, who was instrumental in the scientist’s fall from grace.

The Christopher Nolan-directed movie also featured the talents of an ensemble cast that included the likes of Florence Pugh, Matt Damon and Benny Safdie, among others.

Oppenheimer received widespread critical acclaim upon its release, and it currently holds a rating of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The feature also grossed nearly $960 million from audiences, according to Box Office Mojo.

The cast and crew of Oppenheimer have been nominated for a total of 13 Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Blunt spoke to Entertainment Tonight about working on the feature, and she gave high praise to Nolan for his directing abilities.

‘I mean, he is such a groundbreaking, extraordinary director – I would have done one scene. I mean, I would have done anything. I think everyone felt that,’ she said.

The performer also recalled being particularly impressed by the feature’s script during her first read-through.

‘It was heart-racing, it was emotional. This is not a dusty old biopic, this is like a bone-shattering experience, and it felt like that even when reading the script,’ she stated.
