Radio host Emily Jade O’Keeffe has given birth to a healthy baby boy after undergoing 32 rounds of IVF.

The Hot Tomato breakfast presenter and her husband Gerard Murtagh welcomed Teddy James into the world on Monday, a week before their due date.

The 41-year-old gave a glimpse of their bundle of joy as she shared a sweet Instagram video of her seven-year-old daughter Millie tenderly cradling Teddy.

‘Our prayers were answered!’ Radio host Emily Jade O’Keeffe, 41, has given birth to a ‘miracle’ baby boy after undergoing 32 rounds of IVF (pictured with her daughter Millie, seven)

Holding her new brother in her arms, Millie tells the camera: ‘Everybody this is my new baby. It’s TJ, Teddy James Murtagh and I love him. He’s the love of my life.’

She adds to her mum: ‘He’s the second best thing of my life – the first best thing was seeing you.

‘And I prayed for it for other people’s birthdays, for Easter, for my birthday, for Christmas for every year of month – even Australia Day. Even Halloween.’

Millie then remarks that Teddy is ‘very calm’ and adds that the cutest thing about him is ‘him sneezing’.

Teddy was born at Pindara Private Hospital, weighing eight pounds 11 (3678g) and measuring 53cm long.

Emily Jade described her son as a ‘big bopper’ when she phoned in to the 102.9 Hot Tomato breakfast radio show just hours after the birth.

‘It hurt. I don’t want to do that again,’ she said. ‘I tell you what, half an hour in I was like, ‘You can get the hell out of me, please.”

Emily Jade revealed that she was a week shy of her due date, but she and husband Gerard helped the process along with some alone time on Sunday evening.

‘We decided to try and maybe bring the baby on, and it worked,’ she laughed.

Emily captioned the heart-warming clip: ‘Everybody, meet Teddy James as introduced to the world by big sister Millie Valentine.

‘She is half devastated she has to go to school today after spending the day soaking him up yesterday and doesn’t want to leave him and half over the moon that she has the best news to share with her little friends.’

She concluded: ‘Her prayers were answered in Teddy and she prayed on all the holiest of days. Seeing them together has been the highlight of our lives.’

Emily Jade announced her pregnancy in January, writing on Instagram: ‘Our miracle Millie is about to be joined by another hard-earned miracle in June 2018.

‘5 years, 260 weeks, 1,825 days, 2.3 million minutes. That’s how long and desperately we have tried for this little life.’

She lost 32 embryos and suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage before bringing Teddy into the world. She and Gerard also tried for two years before she fell pregnant with Millie.
