No wonder they were keen to celebrate as the pair had already kicked off the festive cheer that afternoon as they attended the King’s Christmas lunch at Windsor Castle.

The lunch, which takes place on the Wednesday before Christmas, is also a chance for Charles to celebrate with those who do not receive an invitation to spend the festive break in Sandringham with the senior Royals.

However, Beatrice and Edo, along with their two-year-old daughter Sienna, have made the cut and will be joining the King.

It is unclear whether Wolfie, Edo’s son from a previous relationship with interior designer Dara Huang, will join them or spend Christmas with his mother.
