EMILY PRESCOTT: Gary Lineker’s son Tobias’s , 27, royal connection

EMILY PRESCOTT: Gary Lineker’s son Tobias, 27, becomes the resident DJ at King Charles’s former haunt Raffles

He was said to have spent more hours on luxurious holidays than in seminars when at Oxford Brookes University, but now it seems Gary Lineker’s son Tobias will have to commit to weekends in one place for the time being – he has just been announced as resident DJ at posh London nightclub Raffles.

Tobias, 27, will be entertaining the smart set into the early hours every Friday in the club’s Jungle Room.

Raffles was a favourite hangout of a young Prince Charles back in the day – I wonder if Tobias’s tunes might tempt him back to rule the dancefloor again, now that he has the top job?

Jaime’s horror hair day

If you’re looking for a TV series with the most bizarre plotline, look no further than Jaime Winstone’s forthcoming horror-comedy Count Abdulla.

The ITV show follows ‘a British Pakistani Muslim junior doctor based in London who is bitten by a halal-hunting vampire’.

At least Jaime – daughter of acting legend Ray Winstone – will look suitably ghoulish, if this hair-raising snap from the make-up chair is anything to go by.

Eugenie’s bus-ted!

Princess Eugenie is probably more used to travelling to weddings in horse-drawn carriages – but yesterday a red London bus was just the ticket.

The Duke of York’s younger daughter, 32 – sporting her baby bump – stepped off the double decker outside Grosvenor Chapel with her husband Jack Brooksbank as guests gathered for some society nuptials.

Four buses – each costing about £1,000 to hire and each carrying about 72 passengers – were on hand and guests were given coffee after the ceremony, perhaps to compensate for the early 11am start.

Wonder if Eugenie was upstairs or downstairs?

It’s all work and no play for actress Naomi Ackie – she hasn’t been on holiday for six years because she fears she’ll miss out on roles.

Naomi, 31, who played Jannah in Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker, tells Puss Puss magazine: ‘That feeling of instability won’t ever really go… you’re an actor, you’re a freelancer.’

But there seems to be little chance her career will dry up any time soon. Nominated for a Bafta for her performance as Whitney Houston in 2022’s biopic, she’s due to star alongside Channing Tatum in thriller Pussy Island, directed by Zoe Kravitz, daughter of rocker Lenny.

Fancy joining the Royal payroll? The King is in the market for an assistant secretary and is looking for someone with ‘strong cultural sensitivity’ and ‘diplomacy’.

The £80,000 job comes with a warning to applicants: ‘Working for the monarchy means the highest standards are not just expected, they’re essential.’ Good luck!
