I was intrigued to hear Spencer Matthews claim in his podcast that he was attacked by a guard dog when he ran past a ‘cocaine production site’ during an ultra-marathon in the Amazon rainforest.

But did former Made In Chelsea star Spencer, 34, let his imagination run wild? 

After I inquired, his podcast with model wife Vogue was edited and details about drugs were removed.

My best wishes for a speedy recovery to designer Pam Hogg, who is out of action after a cycling accident last week. 

Pam, whose clients include Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, seemed upbeat despite suffering a broken wrist and bruised ribs.

Certainly, it was impressive how chic she still looked in this photo, right, taken in the back of the ambulance while receiving treatment, as she gave thanks for the paramedics and ‘blessed sister morphine’.

I only ask because actor Greg, 57, husband of Dame Emma Thompson, reveals his latest hobby is making cider from apples grown at his Scottish home. ‘Just about to bottle it. I think there’ll be enough for about 30 bottles,’ he told me at Royal Windsor Flower Show.
