‘Being a good mum to Mia will always be my priority of course and I do believe that I’m able to do both well (be a mum & work on my business goals, fitness goals etc).’
The successful businesswoman also penned some heartfelt words of wisdom to those who may be also struggling with reaching their goals, noting success comes down to three key factors: priorities, time management and dedication.
She wrote: ‘The difference between achieving a goal or business success is what you’re willing to DO to achieve it.
‘Excuses definitely won’t get you there – even if they are legit!’
‘I always think; ‘someone out there is busier than me and is doing more to achieve their goals than I am’, Emily continued.
As well as reflecting on motherhood, the successful business woman also shared some words of wisdom to those who might be struggling with reaching their goals
While hers is no doubt a hectic life, she said she routinely asked herself ‘can I be doing more?’ or ‘Should I be more selective about what I invest my time and energy into.’
‘One of the important things for me back before I gave birth was to not lose sight of my long term goals,’ Emily said.
‘Obviously Mia is the number one priority in my life but that’s not to say I can’t achieve all the goals that I have set out for myself.
‘2018 is going to be a very big year for me. I’ve set myself some pretty ambitious (but attainable) goals both in business and for myself physically. As soon as I’ve been given the all clear from my doctor I plan on getting stuck into my FIT program along with the tens of thousands of ladies from around the world in my amazing community.’
Though committed to fitness, Emily previously shared she had struggled to bounce back into shape due to the excruciating pain she has been suffering

The social media influencer posted an honest account on life after childbirth since welcoming her daughter Mia Elise on December 18
‘So many people told me I would ‘bounce right back’ after giving birth like a lot of other fit women do. Well that’s definitely not the case for me,’ she said.
‘It’s only five days after I gave birth to Mia and I look about six or so months pregnant.
The new mother said getting back into shape after having her first baby was not a priority for her because she wanted to focus this time on motherhood.
She spoke out about her struggles to bounce back into shape amid the excruciating pain she has been suffering since childbirth – but admitted her daughter was her number one priority
‘I can tell I’m going to have a LOT of hard work ahead of me to get fit and strong again which I KNOW I can do but it’s not my priority right now – spending this time with my daughter is,’ she said.
‘Getting my ‘body back’ can take a back seat for the time being… I’ll get there in a realistic time frame and I refuse to put pressure on myself to get there.’
The fitness model said she put on 21 kilograms after she was no longer able to maintain her strict fitness regime during her pregnancy.

‘But that did not happen as I was sick a lot of the time and had back pain that made it hard to just walk around the house.
