Emma Raducanu gives fans a glimpse of her Singapore getaway

Emma Raducanu has given fans a glimpse of her festive trip to Singapore, as she took to Instagram to share a gallery of snaps from the trip on Wednesday.

The British tennis star, 20, tucked into a number of cuisines during her visit including black pepper crab, posting a hilarious image of her gloves while she attempted to eat the messy food.

Along with sampling some of Singapore’s famous cuisine, Emma also showed off her daring side during the trip as she enjoyed a vespa ride before donning a zip wire to fly over the Imbiah Hill Jungle.

Emma took a ride on a red vespa around the city as she kept casual in an all white outfit and added a coordinated helmet.

The former US Open champion also went around an art gallery as she cut a stylish figure in a blue and white shirt which she tucked into a pair of white jeans.

She swept her dark locks up in a low loose bun as she stood side on to the camera and looked up to the ceiling.

Fitting in as much as possible, Emma took on the 450m zipline over Imbiah Hill Jungle, Siloso beach and sea.

The athlete harnessed up at the top as she quickly snapped a selfie before strapping onto the zipline.

The beauty added a pop of colour to the number with a pair of bright pink trainers as she beamed for the stunning photo.

She penned to the first set of snaps: ‘Singaporeeee, round 2! Spent most of it so far recovering to 100% but nice to switch off and explore the fun things this city in nature has to offer. I love it here, a must!!’

For the second upload, she wrote: ‘Black Pepper crab (gloves this time)!! Wrapped a fun week in SG before New Zealand, best foodie spot and can’t wait to come back again to this energy’.

It comes after Emma is set to tackle the upcming tennise season with a new coach, German Sebastian Sachs, who helped Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic win Olympic gold last year.

He will step into the hotseat to replace Dmitry Tursunov, who split from Raducanu in October after failing to agree on a long-term deal.

There was some early promise earlier this month when the GB No 1 narrowly lost to world No 2 Ons Jabeur in the Mubadala Championships exhibition event in Abu Dhabi.

An occasionally scrappy encounter ended with the Tunisian winning 5-7, 6-3, 10-8.

Raducanu has spent much of the last two months recovering from a wrist injury and doing concentrated physical training in a bid to avoid the repeat injuries that have hampered her in 2022.

Sachs, 30, had a brief playing career which saw him fail to make it beyond the Futures level, but despite his age he has amassed plenty of coaching experience.

He worked with former world No 1 Victoria Azarenka, and then helped Germany’s Julia Gorges reach the top 10.

With a reputation for thorough preparation, he has impressed Raducanu in their brief trial so far and quickly struck up a strong rapport.

After teaming up with coaches such as Tursunov and another German in Torben Beltz, this is a crucial appointment that needs to work.
