Emma Raducanu has turned 20 – and shared a glimpse online of her birthday celebrations with her friends.
The British tennis sensation took to Instagram yesterday to thank her 2.5million followers for their well-wishes by sharing a selection of images from her day.
Leaving her teenage years behind her on Sunday, the US Open winner could be seen posing in a white hoodie with two friends while at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire, in one snap.
The other photograph showed the beaming sportswoman holding a beautiful floral and fruit cake with the words ‘Happy Birthday’ penned on it in chocolate icing.

Speaking to British Vogue, Pietro said the display is aimed at ‘evoking emotions and dreams’.
‘Harrods is perhaps the most iconic and legendary retail location, not only in the UK, but globally,’ he added. ‘And our presence there means an incomparable level of visibility with an international impact.’
It comes as Great Britain will face Spain and hosts Australia at the new mixed team United Cup next month but will again be without star athlete Emma.
The event sees the ATP and WTA Tours come together, with each tie comprising two men’s singles matches, two women’s singles and one mixed doubles.
Emma, who sat out last week’s Billie Jean King Cup Finals through injury, has not entered and is set to play a regular tour event instead.
