Emma Roberts and her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Rhodes, on Sunday in Los Angeles .
The actress, 29, and her newborn son, who was born weighing 9lbs, are said to be ‘doing great after the delivery’, TMZ reports.
Neither Emma nor Garrett, 36, have publicly confirmed the joyous news on their social media, but Rhodes’s highly-anticipated birth makes both stars parents for the first time.
The couple have been dating since March 2019 and the Scream Queens star announced her pregnancy on Instagram in August, showing off her baby bump in a white dress.

Emma also revealed her baby’s gender with the caption: ‘Me…and my two favorite guys.’
‘Emma and Garrett are getting more and more excited, which is so nice for them,’ a source recently told Us Weekly of the pair’s eagerness to meet their little one.
‘Garrett is really looking forward to becoming a dad and feels as though this is something he needed.
‘He is ready to take on all the daddy duties, and Emma getting pregnant has forced him to become more responsible. He thinks that’s a blessing.’

The actress recently made history by becoming the first pregnant Cosmopolitan cover star, posing in a stylish maternity shoot for the December/January issue.
She admitted in the interview that she always wanted to be a mother: ‘Ever since I was little, I wanted to have a baby, in theory.
‘When I was a kid, I begged my mom to have another baby. The day she brought my sister home from the hospital, I remember holding her, wanting to dress and play with her.’
Roberts also revealed that she had her eggs frozen in her late twenties, when she was diagnosed with endometriosis, after switching to a female doctor.

She added: ‘It sounds cheesy, but the moment that I stopped thinking about it, we got pregnant.
‘But even then, I didn’t want to get my hopes up. Things can go wrong when you’re pregnant. That’s something you don’t see on Instagram.
‘So I kept it to myself, my family, and my partner, not wanting to make grand plans if it wasn’t going to work out. This pregnancy made me realize that the only plan you can have is that there is no plan.’
She and Hedlund, best known for playing Patroclus in Troy, began dating after the end of her engagement with Peters.

Hedlund had previously been in a relationship with Kirsten Dunst from 2012 to 2016.
Speaking about her pregnancy, she said seeing her ‘body change inside and out so drastically has been a wild experience.’
‘Surprising and beautiful. Then again, some days I feel like I’m being hijacked by something,’ she joked.
In October, the star had a socially-distanced, outdoor baby shower with around 15 people in attendance, according to E! News.
Initially, it was reported that the couple were ‘surprised, shocked and happy’ to learn that they were going to be parents, according to Us Weekly.

Roberts had her own brush with the law when she was arrested for allegedly getting into a fight with Peters, which left him with a bloody nose in 2013.
Since Peters opted not to press charges, she was released from jail in just a few hours.
Roberts and Peters, 32, started dating in 2012 after filming Adult World. Then went on to work together on American Horror Story for four seasons.
The pair got engaged later that year, but split briefly in 2015 and again in 2016.
He was most recently romantically linked with Halsey, who he dated from last September to March 2020.
