Emma Stone gets leggy for Battle of the Sexes premiere

Oscar winner Emma Stone showcased quite a leggy look for the Los Angeles premiere of her film Battle of the Sexes at Westwood’s Regency Village Theatre on Saturday evening.

With her alabaster complexion, the platinum blonde 28-year-old looked a bit washed out in the white-striped shirt-dress beneath a silver blazer and chrome stilettos selected by her stylist Petra Flannery.

To make up for the pale pallor, the Arizona-born beauty’s make-up artist went a bit heavy-handed with the smoky eyes, peach blush, and orange lipstick.

Stone was joined on the AstroTurf green carpet by her real-life inspiration, Billie Jean King as well as her co-star Steve Carell (playing Bobby Riggs).

‘Being played by Emma, I was shocked and amazed and thankful and blessed,’ the 72-year-old tennis pro gushed at the US Open on September 9.

‘She is the No. 1 actor in the world right now and just to listen to her and how eloquent and how much work she did. She works hard but she’s also really smart and really intelligent. It’s been quite amazing spending time with her. She’s amazing.’

Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris directed the 1973-set feminist comedy, which hits US theaters next Friday and UK theaters November 24.

To better prepare, Emma (born Emily) memorized Billie’s choreography and packed on 15lbs of muscle during twice-a-day workouts with fitness trainer-to-the-stars, Jason Walsh, for three months.

‘She got really strong, I’m talking like, we were pushing and dragging sleds with hundreds of pounds, which was awesome to watch,’ Walsh told People on Thursday.

‘She did up to 300lbs on her hip thrusts, which is insane. We’d do farmer walks where she would put heavy weights in her hands – we’d probably do 70lb dumbbells in each hand – just walking down the track. She’d do 185lb deadlifts and push ups with chains on her back, things that are outside of the scope of what she did before.’
