Emma Wilson wins her second Olympic bronze medal for Team GB in delayed women’s windsurfing final

British sailor Emma Wilson has won a bronze medal in the women’s windsurfing in Marseille.

Gold went to Italy’s Marta Maggetti, while Israel’s Sharon Kantor took silver.

Wilson had come first in eight of her 14 preliminary races earlier this week to earn a bye into the three-person final, which was pushed back 24 hours due to low winds on Friday.

The 25-year-old from Nottingham has now won two Olympic medals in her career, having also earned a bronze in Tokyo three years ago.
