Emmerdale fans predict cruel twist after Victor Anderson’s death as viewers claim they’ve figured out who stole Manpreet’s necklace

Emmerdale fans have predicted a cruel twist after Victor Anderson (Eddie Osei) was found dead during Tuesday night’s episode.

The drama began after Victor was accused of stealing Manpreet Sharma’s (Rebecca Sarker’s) necklace, a gift from her late husband Rishi.

But viewers are certain they know who really stole the jewels – and claim Victor was ‘framed’ and set up by his son Charles (Kevin Mathurin) to get rid of him for good.

Victor arrived in the Dales back in June as he had just been released from a lengthy prison sentence.

It wasn’t long after that Victor was revealed to be the father of Emmerdale’s resident vicar, Charles Anderson.

The pair have been coming to a head though, with Charles struggling having his father back in his life and rekindling his relationship with his mother Claudette (Flo Wilson).

And during the latest trip to the Dales, having served a long sentence for taking part in a violent robbery and under pressure to provide for himself, Victor seemed a likely culprit when Manpreet’s dazzling piece of jewellery went missing.

It led Claudette to tip out Victor’s pockets, in the hopes of not finding the jewellery, which she sadly found.

Claudette was left frustrated and upset over Victor’s constant lies and betrayal, later plucking up the courage to kick Victor out for good.

After the finger was pointed at him, Victor begged Manpreet not to call the police, but she told him ‘actions have consequences’.

Claudette too turned her back on him and said he may as well be ‘dead’ to her.

Victor then left the house and was later found by Charles in the church.

As he ranted at his dad, he placed a hand on his shoulder and got no reaction.

In shock, Claudette then arrived and it was clear the pair believed Victor was dead. Viewers know Victor was suffering from a deadly brain aneurysm, but it’s yet unknown if that’s what killed him.

But Emmerdale viewers have predicted another cruel twist, believing Charles really stole the necklace that seemingly led to Victor’s sudden death.

Taking to social media, one fan wrote: ‘Poor Claudette. Still reckon Charles framed his dad and it’s resulted in this… if that’s true, Claudette’s last words to Victor were for nothing when he really was telling the truth all along #Emmerdale.’

‘Charles definitely planted that necklace’ another agreed.

A third said: ‘Charles set him up I bet’, while a fourth agreed ‘Bet Charles put that necklace in his pocket!’

A fifth acknowledged: ‘#emmerdale Charles totally framed Victor with that necklace and now we’ll have to put up with months of his guilt.’

Another penned: ‘Nice one Charles. Slipping that necklace in Victor’s jacket pocket! Bye bye Victor #Emmerdale.’

Family: Due to his 'illness', which his family believe is a lie, they went to search for him and get him back home to talk things through
