This was my first Stephen Webster ring. He came to my house with about 20 and I chose this because it has mother-of-pearl, a signature of mine. Stephen and I are similar: both Leos, born in 1959, both dyslexic – and we love vodka.

I love going to Portobello Market on a Saturday. I found this bronze lizard 15 years ago for around £12. I never tire of him because he has movement and wherever you place him, he fits.
My Khmer stone sculpture from Cambodia dates back more than 2,000 years. It has a real spirit about it – it’s small and refined and yet so big. I love sculptures that reflect Eastern philosophy.
No matter how old you are, Snoopy is always cool. I saw this Baccarat Crystal version of him in a Russian magazine. When one of my designers, Lee, saw the page on my desk, he searched the world to find one.
My mother Stephanie collects beautiful things and often gives away pieces she has owned and loved. She gave me this tiny vintage silver bag, which is like fish scales, about 20 years ago. It’s impossible to buy items like this any more.
Ben Vautier is a contemporary French artist who I discovered through a friend. This says, ‘You only see with your heart’ – I was over the moon to be given it for my birthday. It’s a lovely message.

Being a grandmother is probably one of the best things that’s happened in my life.
