The hunt is on to find the offenders who shot bullets into three homes and one man in the leg in Sydney’s west on Saturday.
Nepean Police were called to Hillcrest Road in Emu Heights, near Penrith, about 4.35am following reports of a shooting.
A man aged in his 30s who had suffered a minor gunshot wound to his leg was found at the scene.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition.
Police established a crime scene and said that three houses had been struck by bullets.
Several bullet casings found at the scene will be forensically examined.
Police have door knocked the neighbourhood as part of their investigation, looking for anyone who may have witnessed the shooting.
Investigations are continuing.
Police have appealed for anyone who saw a white car in the area of Hillcrest Road, Balaclava Road or Trafalga Road prior to the shooting or as it left the area following the shooting to come forward.
