England players including Jude Bellingham and Harry Maguire relax on a beach in Qatar

England’s Sea Lions! Gareth Southgate’s players strip off at the beach, with John Stones, Eric Dier and Jude Bellingham enjoying the sun in Doha ahead of Tuesday’s ‘Battle of Britain’ against Wales

Players from England’s World Cup squad have been spotted relaxing on a Qatar beach as they prepare for their crunch World Cup match against Wales.

The Three Lions are on the verge of qualification for the knock-out stages of the tournament with Gareth Southgate’s side having to suffer a dreadful swing of results for them to miss out on the last 16.

Harry Maguire, John Stones and Jude Bellingham were among those spotted walking to the beach by Channel 5, with some of the stars taking their tops off and enjoying some time off in the sea ahead of the match.

The footage shared shows several stars arriving at the beach, assumingly being shown around.

Present were Maguire, Stones, Bellingham, Eric Dier, Nick Pope, Aaron Ramsdale, Conor Coady, Callum Wilson and Kalvin Phillips.

The stars rocked Nike gear, with everyone but Bellingham, Maguire and Dier wearing sunglasses.

At the end of the footage, Stones, Dier and Bellingham stripped down to their shorts and got a little nearer to the water.

Ramsdale and Pope are caught slacking half way through the clip, with other players waiting for them to catch up as Stones and Wilson share a joke.

Eager fans are seen asking Phillips for a picture, which the Manchester City midfielder kindly obliges to.

Dier and Stones then seemingly spot the camera, but don’t let the filming distract them as they enjoy some much-needed down time.

The Three Lions will take on Wales at 7pm tomorrow night, knowing a win will secure top spot in Group B.

They would then face the runner-up of Group A, likely Senegal, before a potential challenge against defending champions France in the last eight.

Wales, meanwhile, need a near miracle to qualify, with Rob Page’s side needing to beat England by four goals to reach the last 16.
