England’s long-awaited showdown with New Zealand, the No 1 side and arguably greatest sports team in the world is finally upon us.
It’s not often Eddie Jones’ men go into a game at Twickenham as underdogs but the Kiwis have a line-up packed full of world class talent.
The red rose regained some vitality last weekend with a narrow victory over South Africa in the opening autumn international but despite the admirable resilience on show, will need to take their game to another level entirely.
Chris Ashton makes his first start in four years for England and Sam Underhill comes in for the injured Tom Curry. The All Blacks are ominously close to full strength.
