Entrepreneur behind Bangn Body beauty product launches game-changing item with 50k on waiting list

A young entrepreneur behind a beauty brand that made $8,000 within the first three weeks of launching her first business has today launched a new ‘game-changing’ product that already has 50,000 people on the waiting list.

Priscilla Haijantoni, 25, from Melbourne, developed Bangn Body’s $48 Firming Body Lotion last year, with the intention of creating something natural, targeted at millennials who want pretty packaging, an affordable price point – and a vegan-friendly product that actually works.

Now, the 25-year-old has added a second lotion to her range – the Illuminating Firming Lotion ($56) – and there are already 50,000 people waiting in line to buy it.

So what makes the Illuminating Firming Lotion so special?

Like the original Firming Lotion, the $56 product moisturises and hydrates your complexion, while also firming the skin, reducing redness, bumps and breakouts and increasing collagen production.

On top of this, it also adds a luminous glow to keep you looking bronzed all year round. 

Ingredients including green bean coffee extract, shea butter, avocado oil and sunflower oil nourish and hydrate the skin, while sapphire pigment is made from a luxe biodegradable mica to enhance the skin’s natural glow.

‘The cream brightens and hydrates the skin and acts as a moisture magnet, while firming and tightening,’ Priscilla told FEMAIL. 

The range will be available online at Bangn Body, and through the Mecca website – which has just added Bangn Body to its stable of esteemed beauty brands.

Speaking previously to FEMAIL, Priscilla said she came up with the idea for the firming body lotion around two years ago. 

‘Some of my earliest memories are of admiring my mum’s beauty rituals,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

‘She always took care of her skin and made me aware through her salon of what clients wanted and what was missing from their routine.’

Priscilla said she has always loved beauty, but had previously ‘struggled to find a beauty brand that was relatable to my young, fun, quirky self – but one that had anti-ageing benefits’.

‘I believe we are never too young to start taking care of our skin,’ she said.

‘There was a gap in the market for skincare products for millennials that protected and preserved their skin using vegan-friendly and natural ingredients which are multi-purpose, effective, fuss-free and affordable.’

In the months before launching her product, to help generate hype, Priscilla said she created a 'waitlist' where people could sign up with their email address which meant there were orders coming in from the day of launch (pictured before and after use)

After thinking about what she wanted to create, Priscilla said she searched for a chemist in Australia ‘who could help me develop products that are natural, vegan and cruelty-free’.

She wanted to make something that was both ethical and results-driven.

In the months before launching her product, to help generate hype, Priscilla said she created a ‘waitlist’ where people could sign up with their email address which meant there were orders coming in from the day of launch.

‘I think this was truly the biggest secret and tip I could give,’ she said of her quick success.

‘We were able to create hype and buzz around the launch, which was so useful.’

‘Before I launched Bangn Body I spent a long time observing, learning and researching in order to conceptualise the brand,’ Priscilla said.   

‘I understood the many frustrations women experienced with their skin. 

She continued: ‘I was able to fill a gap in the market as my products have a point of difference. 

‘They are effective, affordable and efficient. This separates Bangn Body from expensive and complicated high-end skincare ranges.’
