Eric and Lara Trump welcome baby girl Carolina Dorothy

Eric and Lara Trump welcomed a baby girl into their family late Monday evening.  

The president’s son took to Twitter to make the joyful announcement revealing the baby’s name is Carolina Dorothy Trump along with the doting message, ‘We love you already!’

‘@LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to welcome Carolina Dorothy Trump into the world. We love you already!’ he tweeted at 11.57pm ET. 

This is the second child for Eric, 35, and Lara, 36, who share a one-year-old son named Eric Luke Trump.

The birth of baby Carolina marks the 10th grandchild for President Donald Trump.

Eric and Lara tied the knot in November 2014 after a six-year courtship and welcomed their first child in September 2017. 

Just last week Lara Trump showed off her baby bump in a figure-hugging gown on the cover of Hello! Magazine, fiercely posing while eight months pregnant. 

In the interview she gushed about attending the president’s US state visit to Britain in June with her husband’s family and said she couldn’t wait to tell her yet-to-arrive baby about the adventure. 

‘Knowing that one day I’ll tell this baby about the adventure overseas and all that happened while in my belly made everything all the more meaningful,’ she told the publication.

Lara, who is a former producer of Inside Edition, is serving as a 2020 presidential campaign adviser to the 45th president, and her father-in-law.

She produces and hosts weekly digital videos for the Trump re-election campaign, which launched in July of 2017, under the title ‘Real News Update’ on the campaign’s social media pages.

Lara didn’t let her pregnancy stop her from hitting the campaign trail. Just last month she danced and greeted guests at the president’s ‘Women for Trump’ campaign in Pennsylvania, which aimed to attract female voters ahead of the 2020 election.  

She was also seen dancing with friends at the Fox & Friends All-American Summer Concert Series in New York in July.
