Eric and Lara Trump have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Eric Jr., after his father.
The baby boy, who was born at 8.50am on Tuesday morning, is the ninth grandchild for President Donald Trump.
New father Eric, 33, took to Twitter less than four hours after the arrival of his son to share the happy news that Lara, 34, his wife of three years had given birth.

Father and child: The doting dad also posted this black-and-white picture of himself with his newborn son on Instagram
‘@LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to announce the birth of our son, Eric “Luke” Trump at 8:50 this morning,’ he wrote.
The new father also shared a sweet picture of his son with the world, posting the adorable image alongside his tweet.
In the picture, the tiny newborn appears to be sleeping soundly in his mother’s arms, with just her hospital gown visible in the background. The image shows the little boy wrapped up snuggly in a blue, pink, and white hospital blanket, with a pink woven cap on his head.
Eric then shared a second picture of his child on Instagram, this time a black-and-white photo which captures himself cradling baby Eric Jr. and dropping a sweet kiss on his forehead.

The arrival of Eric and Lara’s first child comes less than 24 hours after new dad Eric was seen leaving his New York apartment alone on Monday afternoon, alongside a Secret Service detail.
Eric was seen walking out of his building and climbing into a waiting car before heading north ‘out of the city’ according to an onlooker.
It is not known whether Lara was in labor at that time, or whether Eric went to meet her later on in the day.
Happily, Eric’s mother Ivana is thought to have been in town for her grandchild’s arrival, after making an appearance at a New York Fashion Week show on Monday.
The 68-year-old sat on the front row at the Dennis Basso show, appearing in a bold leopard print trench coat.
