Eric Cowell runs along the beach in Barbados with nanny

They are currently enjoying their annual family Christmas trip to the sunny climes of Barbados.

But Lauren Silverman and Simon Cowell indulged in some alone time on Thursday, as they enjoyed a romantic walk on the beach – while their son Eric, three, went swimming with his nanny.

The brunette beauty, 40, displayed her enviably svelte figure in a plunging green swimsuit as she strolled along the sand with her long-term partner.

Mother-of-two Lauren commanded attention with her enviable figure in the green one-piece, which tightly hugged her frame all the way down.

Pulling into halterneck straps, the swimsuit then dipped into a deep plunge at the chest, to give a glimpse of her ample cleavage underneath.

Rising high at her hip, the swimwear then left most of her long and slender legs on show as she enjoyed a walk along the coast.

Clearly enjoying their day by the sea, the pair later stopped at a beach bar nearby – where they proceeded to snap a number of selfies with adoring fans.

While his parents enjoyed some alone time, little Eric instead enjoyed a swim in the sea with his nanny.

Taking him in her arms, she took the adorable son of the music mogul into the waves for a dip, her blonde locks tied back from her face, shades covering her eyes.

Eric seemed to have very much taken to the water as he showed off impressive swimming strokes for his age.

The Cowells have made the 4,000 mile trip to Barbados for the last few years to ring in Christmas and the New Year as a family.

Simon looked healthy and happy as he stepped out with his glamorous partner Lauren Silverman and their adorable son for their first family trip to the beach on Monday.

The media boss has owned a property on the picturesque Eastern Caribbean island for a number of years, and often joins his family a few days later for the winter festivities.

In 2013, it was revealed Simon had been in a relationship with his then-best friend Andrew Silverman’s wife Lauren, after pictures emerged of them kissing on a yacht.

The pair then welcomed their son – a half-sibling for Lauren’s eldest son Adam, 11, from her previous marriage – in February 2014, and named him after Simon’s late father, who died in 1999.

While he is now closer than ever with his little boy, Simon confessed last year that he had struggled to form a bond with the tot after he first arrived.

Yet, Simon later admitted to the Daily Star that the pair were now closer than ever – with Eric even confiding in him about his seemingly hectic love life.

The producer joked to the paper: ‘I think he has my charm with the ladies. I asked him the other day how many girlfriends he’s got and I think he’s got five currently, so he’s doing OK.’

In October, Simon was forced to miss the opening X Factor show after he fell down a flight of stairs during the night and fainted, injuring his head.

Speaking about the incident later, he admitted: ‘Sometimes we get a reminder that we’re not invincible and this was certainly mine.’

‘It was a huge shock. They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out. After all I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever.’

Explaining how the fall had happened, he added: ‘I’d gone to get some hot milk because I felt ropey. On the way back upstairs, I just remember feeling really dizzy.’

‘Next thing I know someone was putting a neck brace on me and I had a terrible headache, which must have been from me hitting the stairs.’
