Erin Molan jokes that she has turned into her mother by making newborn baby wear a floppy sun hat 

It’s the question that often runs through the minds of women across the globe – have I turned into my mother?

And for media personality Erin Molan, 36, the answer to this question became glaringly obvious on Tuesday when she dressed her four-month-old daughter Eliza in a floppy legionnaires-style hat.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Erin shared a with a picture of herself enjoying a sun-drenched stroll, with adorable Eliza propped up in her arms.

‘I am now my mum and Eliza is me!’ Erin Molan, 36, joked that she has turned into her mother by making her newborn baby wear a floppy sun hat on Tuesday 

Erin added the cheeky caption:‘Would not speak to mum for days when she made us wear legionnaires hats… I am now my mother and Eliza is me.’ 

It’s the latest in a slew of heart-warming family snaps from the blonde star, who welcomed her first child with fiancé Sean Ogilvy in June.

Earlier this year, Erin likened her maternity leave to that of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

‘At the six or seven week mark, I will head back,’ she told The Daily Telegraph.

‘Although if I need more time or if Eliza isn’t settling or isn’t okay without me there, then I will delay it,’ she added.

It comes amid big changes for Erin, who was recently forced to weather the storm of Channel Nine’s decision to axe The Footy Show after 25 years on air.

Erin had only been installed in the host’s chair earlier this year.

She’s has now reportedly signed a three-year contract with Nine for an undisclosed ‘big money’ salary.  

Meanwhile, she has been spending her days filling in as Today’s sports presenter and continues to host The Sunday Footy Show.
