Escort Vivienne Black lifts the lid on the sex industry, including the strangest requests

An escort who charges up to $8,000 for a ‘weekend getaway’ has revealed what the sex industry is really like, including the types of clients she attracts, the strangest requests she’s ever had and why men who are married or in long-term relationships turn to escorts.

Vivienne Black said she was a ‘promiscuous teenager’ who had ‘no qualms’ exploring sex with both young men and women.

So when she couldn’t make ends meet in her early 20s, the curvy brunette turned to a reputable high-class agency in North Sydney.

‘I was hungry. I did so out of necessity like many people who enter sex work and stay in sex work. I needed to survive and quickly adapted to the lifestyle,’ Vivienne, now aged in her 30s, told FEMAIL.

Over the past six years of working in Australia and abroad, she’s learnt a lot about both genders, relationships and ‘never say yuck someone’s yum’.

She doesn’t have a typical client, suggesting it could be the man sitting beside you on the train, the woman in front of you getting coffee, or even the couple that lives next door.

‘My most common booking types and requests are from men and couples, usually for my half-day affair package (six to nine hours for $4,000). Also popular are dinner dates and porn star experience with filming,’ she said.

For the ‘girlfriend experience’ – with prices ranging from $800 for an hour to $2,700 for five hours – clientele can expect a bubble bath, hot oil massage, dinner, foreplay and affection, along with a number of other sexual add ons.

Vivienne also caters to those who want the ‘porn star experience’ ($1,300 to $3,700), overnight stays (10 to 14 hours for $5,500), a full day affair (24 hours for $6,600) or a weekend escape (48 hours for $8,000).

Those with a little more cash in the bank can opt to fly Vivienne across the world to meet them in a hotel or for dinner.

‘I was flown to Singapore for the Formula One weekend with six other ladies, all from different countries,’ she said.

‘We stayed in gorgeous hotels, ate at invitation-only restaurants and were given additional hotel rooms next to the track to watch the race. The weekend was a booking for one gentleman, and he didn’t have sex with any of us the entire time.

While this isn’t her reality every week there are certainly perks to living the life she leads, although Vivienne has received her fair share of ‘bizarre communication’.

‘About three years ago I received a random video message of a man jerking off to the Law and Order intro-track, with great enthusiasm I might add,’ she said.

‘One of the more out there bookings I have had was for a two-hour porn star experience role-play.’

Where is sex work legal in Australia?

  • Victoria and Queensland have legalised sex work within brothels
  • Escorts in Northern Territory must register with police and receive a ‘free of convictions certificate’
  • New South Wales has decriminalised all forms of sex work, with the regulations for brothels placed with the local planning and development authorities; however, living off the earnings of the prostitution of another person (with the exemption of brothel employers and employees) is illegal
  • The ACT has legalised brothels but only in two prescribed industrial suburbs. Brothels, escorts and private workers must register their business

The male client she saw had written his fantasy out as an erotica screenplay script where he was a ‘horny devil who seduces teenage virgins and makes them his queens’.

‘It was a lot of pressure, as it was important to him, and I wanted to get it right,’ she said.

‘He put so much effort into the costumes and the script. It was a lot of fun and a pleasure to have been involved in his fantasy.’

The vast majority of Vivienne’s clients are either married or in relationships, but the reasons they book are not always sexual in nature.

‘Some express feelings of isolation or distance in their relationship, and they book sex workers as a reprieve from those feelings,’ she said.

‘Many of my clients worry about rejection and humiliation by their partner. They are exploring a quirk, fantasy or fetish and don’t feel comfortable to share it.’

Violence and crime against sex workers happens all the time. This is why is it so crucial for us to reduce stigma; improve legal protection and support

While most of the interactions she has are safe and comfortable, things have gone horribly wrong in the past.

‘I have been in situations where things have gone very wrong. It is always a possibility when working,’ she said.

‘I have also had some very close calls but was able to change the situation or leave beforehand.
