Euan Blair’s education start-up firm makes its first acquisition

The education start-up run by Tony Blair’s son has made its first acquisition.

Euan Blair’s Multiverse, an apprenticeship provider that matches school leavers with employers including Google, Facebook and investment bank Morgan Stanley, has bought Danish education tech firm Eduflow for an undisclosed sum.

Multiverse also said it has appointed Ujjwal Singh as its first chief product and technology officer. 

He joins from Facebook’s owner, Meta. Blair, 39, the son of the former prime minister, founded Multiverse in 2016 in a bid to shake up the education sector.

It charges clients a fee once an apprentice is successfully placed.

In June last year, it became Britain’s first education technology unicorn after a funding round valued the business at £1.4billion, giving the younger Blair a paper fortune of nearly £350million.
