Javon Walton, the 17-year-old actor turned boxer, didn’t have the professional debut that he may have hoped for during his super featherweight bout against Joshua Torres.

Walton, who goes by the ring name ‘Wanna’, rose to fame for playing Ashtray in the HBO series Euphoria.

But he’s been boxing since a young age and went pro on the undercard of a Most Valuable Promotions event in Puerto Rico on Saturday.

However, the bout ended in a majority decision draw after two judges scored the contest 38-38 and the third gave Walton a 39-37 advantage.

Boxing fans on social media lambasted the bout – with many saying they expected better from the 17-year-old.

‘He looked very raw, not convincing I must say, will be interesting to see how he develops,’ one person wrote on Twitter.

Another called it, ‘Easily the worst professional fight ive ever seen.’

‘Horrible performance from him. Hes only 17 so he’ll get better but he had no business being on this stage right now,’ another account said.

‘He’s 17 still learning but definitely need more aggression and overall more punches,’ read another review of the fight.

Others were even more critical, with one person saying, ‘i WANNA put listerine in my eyes after watching that’ – while another wrote, ‘Stick to acting brother.’

In speaking of acting, Walton revealed to DailyMail.com that he isn’t quite sure a third season of Euphoria will ever be filmed.

Even if a third season was made, Walton said that he wouldn’t make a return to reprise his role as Ashtray.

‘I filmed season two of Euphoria when I was 14, turning 15, and as far as that… in the acting world, I’ve been able to kind of work on my skill set for a very long time and hone in on that.

‘So when I’m on set, I’m kind of just dialed in and I’m not really thinking about all the extra stuff. I just stay super dialed in on set. I work on my character, and I don’t really think of it as anything else but shooting a series.’

Last July, Walton signed with Most Valuable Promotions, the boxing promotion company started by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian.

This debut bout was part of an MVP event – where Paul beat Ryan Bourland in a first-round knockout.
