Disaster for Ousmane Dembele as France and Barcelona star ‘is ruled out for FOUR MONTHS and needs knee surgery’ after limping off in Euro 2020 draw against Hungary on Saturday

Ousmane Dembele is reportedly facing four months out and will need to go under the knife after picking up an injury for France at Euro 2020.

The Barcelona winger has been blighted by injuries in recent seasons but was looking to kick on healthy as a key part of Didier Deschamps’ side for the European Championships.

But after being forced off following a 29-minute cameo against Hungary on Saturday, French newspaper L’Equipe have reported that knee surgery is required and he is facing a spell out that could stretch through to October.

The report goes on to add that the required knee surgery could take place in Finland.

Dembele has previously favoured the Scandinavian country for surgery having gone under the knife in Turku, Finland, in 2020.

Renowned Finnish doctor Sakari Orava also operated on Dembele in 2018 to solve a problem in his left leg.
