EuroMillions winner Adrian Bayford has splashed out on £2.5million two mansions just 12 miles apart in a week.

The 47-year-old, who won £148million with his now ex-wife Gillian in 2012, paid £1.35million for a luxury home with a rooftop garden in Blairgowrie, Perthshire.

It comes just days after he purchased a house up the road – boasting a gym and a lift between floors.

Bayford recently traded in his £10million Cambridge estate for Scotland so that he can be nearer his ex-wife and their two children.

And the home, which was built in 2011 and previously owned by an architect – also has a rain water recyling system, solar panels and with salmon fishing and golf courses nearby. 

The former postie divorced wife Gillian in 2013. At the time, she said their eight-year marriage had broken down ‘irretrievably’ and moved to Scotland with their two children.

Gillian then returned to Scotland with their two children while Adrian moved to Cambridge and embarked on his relationships.  

But Bayford recently traded in his £10million estate for a four-bedroom home in Dundee so that he can be nearer his ex-wife and their two children.

The lottery winner has reportedly fallen out with friends, including the director of Cambridge Rock festival which he hosted on his lawn in 2017. 

Adrian bought a local village pub The Rose and Crown for £375,000 but has reportedly fallen out with bar staff and now barely sets foot in it. 

The father-of-two’s love life has also suffered after he and his wife Gillian divorced and he has reportedly been dumped three times since his jackpot win.

Adrian faced heartbreak in January last year when his stable girl fiancée Samantha Burbidge, 30, walked out on him.

There was also former sausage factory worker Marta Jarosz who was gifted a £34,000 top-of-the-range Volvo car before breaking up with him. 

He was then reportedly dumped by former Frankie & Benny’s waitress Lisa Kemp, 40, while on holiday last year.
