Europe’s horniest countries revealed… and Britain comes FOURTH

  • A survey of more than 22,000 people found Italy the horniest European country
  • And Britain came in fourth, as it was revealed Gen Z ARE actually having sex

Europe’s horniest countries have now been revealed as Britain comes fourth.

And people in Italy are the most likely to want a pizza the action.

Sex toy brand LoveHoney quizzed more than 22,000 people from 15 different countries — including the UK, Spain and France — on their sexual appetites.

Participants were asked to self-report their sex drives out of 10.

Italy topped the European chart, with respondents ranking their libido 6.93, on average.

LoveHoney’s ‘LibidOlympics’ also revealed that despite claims that Gen Z aren’t having sex, they are actually Britain’s horniest age group.

Out of those who took part in Europe, Spain ranked second, scoring an average sex drive of 6.91 out of 10.

Rounding out the participating European countries were France (6.24), the UK (6.22), Germany (6.09), Switzerland (5.87) and Austria (5.56).

The orgasm gap between men and women is well known.

But the results revealed that men also have a higher sex drive — or that’s what they say at least.

However, Annabelle Knight, LoveHoney sex and relationship expert, claimed societal norms could stop women from being honest about how horny they are.

She said: ‘It’s likely that men are more willing to say they have a higher sex drive and vice versa for women, as outdated notions around female (and male) sexuality still exist, whether internally or externally.’

The data showed that while men worldwide confessed to a sex drive of 6.53, on average, it was 12 per cent lower for women — who scored just 5.76.

Globally, results also showed that the 25 to 34 year-old cohort, who are mostly millennials, are the most sexually active group, while stating that Gen Z are abstaining more.

But in Britain, the LibidOlympics revealed young people are actually having the most sex — with an appetite of 6.96.

This reduced as age increased, with Brits aged over 65 having a sex drive of 5.16.

However, Ms Knight added: ‘Sex drives vary massively from person to person, and there is nothing to be ashamed of if yours is particularly lower or higher than average.

‘The important thing is that you can communicate this openly with any romantic partner, and if you have matching high sex drives then get the sex toys out and have some fun.’

It comes after a Durex survey last month, of 2,000 people, revealed men orgasm a whopping four times as much as women.

Just five per cent of women said they always orgasm during a sexual encounter, compared to 20 per cent of men.

A fifth of sexually active ladies said they felt frustrated or disappointed as a result, but 11 per cent say they have gotten used to it.
