Eva Gutowsk trolls Amazon user who slammed her for being ‘bisexual’

A YouTube star and author has slammed a woman for giving her book a negative review on Amazon.

Taking to her YouTube channel, Eva Gutowski, 23, the author of My Life as Eva: The Struggle is Real who blogs as MyLifeAsEva, revealed that while she was shopping on Amazon, she decided to check out the latest reviews for her book.

‘Most of them were really good and I was getting a little bit teary-eyed and then I noticed, that there were two reviews dragging me down from getting a perfect five stars on Amazon,’ she explained.

Review: Eva Gutowski, 23, author of My Life as Eva: The Struggle is Real, took to her YouTube channel to troll a woman named Jennifer who left her a negative book review on Amazon

Details: The woman named Jennifer had sent her book back as she didn't want her teenage daughter to read it and think being bisexual was okay

However, when she saw two negative reviews, she decided to investigate further.

One of the reviewers said the book was ‘written by a 10-year old for five-year olds’ and although Eva didn’t like this review, she seemed to be able to let it go.

However, when she stumbled on the review left by a woman named Jennifer, which revealed it had a problem with Eva’s bisexuality, she took offence.

The review read:  ‘In the chapter on boys she openly shared that she’s bisexual. I’m sending this back because I don’t need my teen daughter thinking that anything goes.’

Speaking about her reaction to the review, Eva admitted that she was shocked so she decided to investigate the user further and find out more about her.

From looking at her profile, she was able to find out that the reviewer Jennifer was from Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and had reviewed over 100 products and items.

So, to get a kind of revenge of sorts, Eva decided to make a YouTube video trolling Jennifer by reading out all of her other reviews.

The first item Eva decided to pick out was one for a Coleman 30-Can Soft Cooler bag.

‘Awesome quality. My body builder son is going to love this,’ she read from the reviews.

She then chose to read out Jennifer’s review of a Gun Holster shirt that allows wearers to keep their guns close to their chests.

‘These are the only conceal carry shirts my husband will wear. He typically wears the black, but since we’re going to Florida I though he might like a white one,’ she read out loud from her phone.

Trolling: Once she found Jennifer's profile she decided to find her reviews and poke fun at the woman by reading her reviews for various items she had bought aloud on camera

Mixed: While Eva received a bad review, she was happy to see Jennifer was pleased with her purchased of The Nutcracker but also called her a 'savage' for her negative reviews

Going through the reviews, Eva felt momentarily remorseful after she found a review for Jennifer’s daughter’s doll house that had been filled with nine dolls to represent each member of their family.

However, when Eva found Jennifer’s review for a duck coloring book where she deemed it ‘too adult’, she continued to troll her and asked how anyone could come to that conclusion.

‘Jennifer, I have questions,’ she told the camera.

And when she found out that Jennifer also gave the classic book Moby Dick just one star and sent it back for being too ‘scary’, she seemed overjoyed to find a book that had been more negatively reviewed than her own.

‘This book is a literal children’s book,’ Eva said in an exasperated tone. ‘What is scary about this?’

She also called Jennifer ‘a savage’.

Other items Eva trolled included sandals, cologne, and a One-Direction themed tooth brush.

And for her final rant, she ridiculed the woman Jennifer for buying her child a baby doll named Jenna, and suggested that buying dolls for girls conditions them for motherhood and makes them ‘become a robot of society’.

‘Do you realize that a lot of the children’s toys that we’ve gotten, like when we were younger, cash registers, kitchen sets, baby dolls, it’s all just training us to have this idea of what life should be. And when you really think about it, what if all of the roots of our problems came from the toys that we got as kids,’ she told the camera.

She also said that she wanted to humanize her haters by making them into real people, and hoped that people would be more inclusive towards her in the future.
