Evan Ross wished his fans a merry Christmas this week by posing a picture of his family gathering together for the holiday.
The relatives who joined in the festivities included Evan’s wife Ashlee Simpson, as well as his world famous mother Diana Ross.
In a heartwarming touch, everyone in the picture including the assiduously glamorous Diana was wearing a cozy-looking bear costume.
They all assembled in the backyard for the photo, posing under elegant seasonal décor like twinkling lights and red and gold baubles.
Posted on Boxing Day, the picture featured Ashlee and Evan’s children Jagger, eight, and Ziggy, three, as well as Ashlee’s son Bronx, 15.

Ashlee welcomed Bronx in 2008 with her first husband Pete Wentz, a musician who achieved national stardom as part of the band Fall Out Boy.
Some of Evan’s siblings were also on hand for the Christmas picture, including his sisters Chudney Ross and Rhonda Ross Kendrick and their brother Ross Naess.
Noticeably absent, however, was his most famous sibling Tracee Ellis Ross, an actress best known for the sitcoms Girlfriends and Black-ish.
Tracee apparently left Los Angeles in pursuit of a white Christmas, posting an Instagram video of herself dancing through the snow at an undisclosed location.
Also missing from Evan’s family photo was Ashlee’s sister Jessica Simpson, who has three children with her ex-NFL husband Eric Johnson.
Shortly after Thanksgiving, Tracee revealed what Diana wanted for Christmas this year – a wish that Evan’s photo will have fulfilled.
‘All my mom wants is to be around the kids, the grandkids,’ the Little actress shared with People magazine. ‘That’s the thing.’
As for the presents, Tracee fondly joked: ‘Oh my mom loves anything. I swear to God, you could look at my mom and be like: “I made you this hug from the deepest part of my soul,” and she would be like: “It’s beautiful.”‘

Tracee explained that the matching family costumes are a Christmas tradition – and divulged that Diana and Chudley are the ones who pick the gimmick.
‘My mom brought us to a costume house to do the family picture. And we went to a costume house and we were all dressed in Victorian garb,’ Tracee dished.
‘We just went up into the storage. We all went up into my mom’s coats and just did all of her coats. Everyone. The kids were wearing giant coats. It’s amazing.’
In a testament to her festive spirit, Diana also released a beloved Christmas album called A Special Season in 1994, featuring such standards as White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Silent Night and The Christmas Song.
Five years ago, the album was expanded and re-released, with the newly added numbers including O Little Town Of Bethlehem and The First Noel.
