Ex-Channel 10 presenter Jesse Baird goes missing as police swoop in on home and declare it a crime scene: TV host’s boyfriend Luke Davies is also missing

A desperate search is underway to find an ex-Channel Ten presenter and his partner after their bloodstained clothes were found dumped in a skip and police declared the TV star’s blood-splattered home a crime scene.

Former Ten red carpet reporter Jesse Baird and his Qantas flight attendant boyfriend Luke Davies are missing from the TV producer’s Paddington home in Sydney’s east.

Mr Davies, 29, was reported missing by his family on Tuesday after he was last believed to be in Paddington on Monday when Mr Baird has also vanished.

The manhunt was launched after a pile of the couple’s bloodied clothes was found in a large skip bin in the centre of Cronulla in Sydney’s south around 11am on Wednesday.

Police then raced to Baird’s Paddington home 30km away where they are believed to have found a ‘large amount of blood’, including bloodstained furniture.

Detectives are said to be seeking Mr Baird to find out if he can shed light on where his partner might be after Mr Davies’ home in Waterloo was also found to be empty.

All attempts to trace either of them have been unsuccessful, and police now fear the disappearance may be suspicious.

Police say they have ‘grave concerns’ for Mr Davies and issued an urgent appeal for anyone with any information to come forward.

Mr Davies last updated his social media five days ago with a series of photographs on Instagram of himself in the mountains around Vancouver in Canada.

Three days ago, Mr Baird posted pictures of the pair of them together from when they attended Pink’s concert in Sydney two weeks ago.

After three years with the show, Mr Baird left his producer/presenter role with Studio Ten in January when it was axed by the network late last year.

He had previously worked as a producer/presenter with Ten’s Totally Wild! show for four years as well as a seven-month stint hosting Gamify! for the network in 2019.
