- David Moyes will wait for the right club to rebuild his reputation as an elite boss
- Moyes wants to be back at the level where he was recognised for the top jobs
- The ex-Manchester United man claims to have received some lucrative offers
Ex-Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed he will wait for the right club to rebuild his reputation as an elite manager.
Since quitting his post at Sunderland, following relegation, Moyes has claimed to have received many attractive offers, mostly from abroad.
The Scot has so far resisted lucrative deals in the US and China in a bid to repair the damage caused to his career in the last four years.

Following his hugely successful spell at Everton, where he was given time to build an impressive legacy, Moyes has relatively failed at Manchester Untied, Real Sociedad and most recently Sunderland.
However, Moyes said, as reported by the Mirror: ‘I’ve had several attractive offers – one just a few weeks ago – that I gave very careful consideration to.’
After his departure from Old Trafford, Moyes spent an equally uncomfortable spell at La Liga side Real Sociedad.
He was sacked after just a year at the club where he won 11 games in 38 attempts. However, such an experience has not put him off a job abroad.
He added: ‘Most of them have been from abroad and while I loved working in Spain at Real Sociedad, I want to make sure that my next job ticks all the right boxes.
‘After what happened at Sunderland, I want something that gives me a decent chance to really build something. I did that at Everton.
‘That was the club that allowed me to get myself to a level where I was recognised as a candidate for the top jobs, like the one at United.

He continued: ‘I would like to see if I can get back to that because my reputation has been a little bit bruised by what I have gone through over the last four years.
‘I’m only 54. I still feel young and energised. And I am also one of the most experienced Premier League managers out there.
‘I think I’m on 499 Premier League games – and there’s probably only three or four other managers out there who have got more top-level games than I have.
‘Before going to Sunderland, I had one of the best win ratios in the Premier League and I still think I’ve got a lot to offer as a manager.
