Ex-NBA player running for US Senate plays in Big3 with TRUMP 2024 written on his head

Royce White showed off who he is clearly going to vote for in this year’s presidential election while playing in Ice Cube’s Big3 basketball league, sparking outrage over on social media.

The 33-year-old, former NBA forward had ‘TRUMP 2024’ proudly displayed on the left side of his head in Baltimore, days after the Republican candidate took on Joe Biden in the first 2024 presidential debate.

White, who had stints on the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings, announced that he would be running for the US Senate as a GOP candidate in Minnesota last year in August.

He won the state party’s endorsement in May despite his legal issues, which include being $100,000 in arrears on child-support payments for one of his four children.

On his campaign website, White – Minnesota’s 2009 Mr. Basketball – references his mental health struggles, which hindered his NBA career, and also claims that mental illness in modern-day society was caused by materialism and a decline in spirituality.

He also calls for an American Jubilee which would eliminate taxes. In the Bible, the Jubilee is the year that follows the passage of seven ‘weeks of years’. This fiftieth year deals largely with land, property, and property rights.

White, who has been propped by soon-to-be jailed former Trump aide Steve Bannon, has a history of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), mainly triggered by his highly publicized fear of flying.

The father-of-four was called the ‘mystery pick’ of the 2012 NBA Draft due to his NBA ready body, legal issues, point-forward skill set, and public disclosure of his severe fear of flying during his season at Iowa State (2011-2012).

He was drafted by the Rockets but never played for the team due to disagreements over travel-related issues and his contract.

In 2014, White signed two, 10-day contracts with the Sacramento Kings, but failed to establish himself on the team’s roster.

He then played in Canada from 2016-2018, where he won two championships on the London Lightning, as well as a scoring title and league MVP.

White – a devout Christian – has previously featured in conversations with Catholic commentator Timothy Gordon.

He was once accused of blowing thousands of dollars at an all-nude strip club and on suspicious unmarked transfers and purchases, as well as domestic abuse by his wife, and assault by a former girlfriend.

White, who also once called women ‘w***es’ and ‘b***es’ on social media, previously had other political motives written on his head during basketball games, such as ‘Free the Uyghurs,’ referring to China’s repression of the Turkic ethnic group.

He is the co-captain of ‘Power’ in the Big3 league.
