Soccer fever continues to sweep across America after Fox Sports recently announced record viewership for the Euro 2024 and Copa America group stages.

The European tournament averaged 1.04 million American viewers per game, narrowly edging the previous record of 1.02 million per game.

The network is also seeing higher figures for the Copa America, with matches involving CONMEBOL and CONCACAF nations averaging 1.1 million viewers per game this summer.

USA’s recent fixture against Uruguay, which resulted in the hosts being dumped out at the group stage, is said to have brought in 3.77 million fans – making it the most watched non-World Cup match in the history of FS1.

After Friday’s blockbuster start to the quarterfinals, England face Switzerland and the Netherlands takes on Turkey for a place in the last four on Saturday.
