The last coach to lead Tottenham to silverware has pinpointed Harry Kane as being the difference between the Champions League finalists.
Juande Ramos, who lifted the League Cup in 2008, said: ‘Both clubs know each other very well and they are very evenly matched.
‘They will match each other for desire to win it too so it will come down to details. I don’t if Harry Kane is going to be fit but he is a trump card for Tottenham.’

Ramos is not surprised by the return of English teams to the summit of European club football. He told Radio Marca: ‘The broadcast rights are sold for huge amounts of money and the potential has grown from there.
‘Teams are earning as much as Real Madrid and Barcelona in Spain. They have bought in the best players and coaches from abroad.’
Ramos defended Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp when Radio Marca asked if he could be considered a failure for not having won anything.

Ramos said: ‘You cannot say that Klopp has failed in England because he has not won a trophy. It’s no failure to finish second with so many teams capable of winning things.’
Asked about Gareth Bale, Ramos added: ‘When the team doesn’t do well the attention always turns on individuals. When they won three European Cups no one said anything about him.’
