EXCLUSIVE: £150m Adele has to become a party planner and ditch ‘boring’ life to make son Angelo have a WEEK long 11th birthday – but has said he can’t have anything ‘too expensive’

Adele is planning a week of partying in between her Las Vegas shows for the sake of her son Angelo, who is turning 11 on Thursday.

It is a fast-paced change of life for the singer, who admits that most weeks in between shows are ‘boring’, often being reclusive at her LA mansion. 

But Adele, 35, revealed that Angelo, who she does not picture, will have a raft of events lined up.

Adele revealed at her gig this weekend: ‘This week my son turns 11 years old. Can you believe that? We have got a busy week coming celebrating him. He is very much like me because I take my birthday very seriously. 

‘So it is a whole week or a month celebration which I think everyone should treat their birthday like.

‘From a very young age he seems to have adopted the same point of view, which isn’t quite as fun. He is my son and obviously I adore him and he is like “can I do this and do that.’”

‘“I am like “that is very expensive. You are 11 shouldn’t we be having a tea party still?“But you know eleven year-olds in 2023 are like going on 25?’

‘He is more savvy in every way than I am and I ever have been or ever will be. That is my week So I guess my update next week will be, being a bullied mother probably!’

Adele has just recovered from being ‘sick as a dog’ after suffering being bed-bound for five days from the flu. 

‘I got f***ng sick. I’m a germaphobe. I hadn’t left the house all week.’

But Angelo, whose father is Simon Konecki, can expect to be served Chinese food no matter what he orders. 

‘I am going through a real Chinese dumplings phase. I have had them for lunch. It does sound delicious having dumplings for breakfast.’

 However she will not raise a glass in honour of her son.

Her love: Adele is now happily in a relationship with sports agent Rich Paul 

‘I stopped drinking maybe like three and a half months ago. It’s boring. I mean, I was literally borderline alcoholic for quite a lot of my twenties, but I miss it so much. I cut out caffeine.’

Talking to a fan who was drinking all day she added: ‘So enjoy your whiskey sour. I’m very, very jealous.’ 

Adele will also have her partner Rich Paul back in LA after he spent weeks trekking across the US promoting his memoir. 

She continued: ‘My man has been on tour around America, doing interviews and promoting his book. And he’s just been rinsing me basically for being unemployed.’
