EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight cast were ‘suspicious’ intruder bride Madeleine was a ‘mole’: ‘Alarm bells were ringing’

Married At First Sight’s intruder bride Madeleine Maxwell stunned her husband Ash Galati when she revealed that she was a psychic medium at their wedding.

And it appears the bride, 30, also left the other cast confused, with many convinced she was a ‘mole’ planted by production in order to shake things up.

One cast member told Daily Mail Australia that ‘alarm bells were ringing’ when she told everyone she was a psychic medium instead of an actress despite appearing on Home and Away.

Another guest at the wedding said things ‘seemed off’ because Maddy would automatically repeat things when she would make a mistake without being asked to by producers and ‘turn up’ her personality when cameras were rolling.

‘I love acting. I think it’s so fun and cool, but I took a break because it’s my path, I guess,’ Madeleine told 9Entertainment.

Madeleine said she’d love to one day return in a role that was completely different to something she’d done before, but for now she’s happy with where she’s at.

The bride married Ash in front of the nation during Monday night’s episode, and the pair appeared to hit it off.

Madeleine even slipped out an ‘L-bomb’ at the end of the aisle.

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
