NRL WAG Christy Young tied the know with Canterbury Bulldogs star Max King last week in a gorgeous wedding in Sydney.
The brunette beauty, 25, told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday her relationship with Max was so much stronger because they waited until they were married to have sex.
‘I really saw how true that was when we made that commitment to wait. Was it hard? 100 per cent, but so worth it because we didn’t have sex as a distraction,’ she said.
‘We had to actually go on dates and fill the time we spent together in other ways that weren’t Netflix and chill. We built friendship and love first, and then sex is the sprinkle on top.
‘I can honestly say that Max and I have the best relationship because we waited.’

Young went on to reveal the inspiration behind her stunning bridal gown.
‘I was marrying a King at a castle, the stunning Curzon Hall. So the venue and styling was definitely the inspiration behind the looks,’ she began.
‘I was super lucky to work with an amazing bridal couture to create looks that paired perfectly with our venue. We wanted the first look to be something classic, timeless, but still modern. The princess full skirt, with a leg slit was perfect!’

Christy then revealed she and Max were currently working on plans to expand their family.
‘We would love to have kids and we’re off to Europe for our honeymoon. Who knows, maybe a honeymoon baby!’
Earlier this month, Max walked down the aisle with his glamorous model girlfriend Christy Young.

The Bulldogs prop and his new bride, both 25, exchanged vows at Curzon Hall, one of the premier wedding and event venues in Sydney, surrounded by family and friends.
The couple, who are both Christians, famously abstained from sex during their engagement.
‘We are so loud and proud about our faith… it’s never been something we’ve shied away from because it is so important to us,’ Christy told 2DayFM’s Hughesy, Ed and Erin show in March.
Young laughed as she described being set up with King by their pastor, and believes the pair remaining celibate has certainly helped his game on the footy field.
