Susannah Constantine snoozed in a cheeky snap amid her loved-up getaway with her husband as they returned to their honeymoon destination in Egypt after 30 years.

The TV personality, 62, was fast asleep without trousers in the photo taken by her beloved partner Sten Bertelsen while sailing down the River Nile on a 12-day cruise to celebrate their anniversary.

Susannah relaxed in their plush cabin and wore a baggy pin-striped shirt after already undertaking an action packed schedule including a romantic camel ride around the pyramids of Giza.

She captioned the post: ‘If a friend told me this was where they’d slept on a river boat sailing down the Nile I wouldn’t believed them. If someone told be I’d be relaxed enough to have a guilt free nana nap IN said cabin I’d laugh in their face’.

‘But here we are. Pushing up the zzzzzzz at 4pm. Quite miraculous considering my mind is being blown daily and I have 4000 years of history running through my brain’.

She tied the knot with the businessman in 1995 and they share three children Cece, 20, Esme, 23, and Joe, 24, and have spent their three decades travelling the world.

Sharing snaps of the camel ride last week, the pair looked smitten as they reached over for a romantic embrace while riding the animals through the desert.

For the outing, Susannah wore a cream sun hat, white shirt and green trousers as she accessorised with a quirky leopard print bag.

Meanwhile Danish entrepreneur Sten also protected himself from the blazing sun as he wore a blue cap, red scarf and white T-shirt.

Alongside the post, she penned: ‘Back where we started on honeymoon nearly 30 years ago. Beginning our 12 day trip down the mighty Nile at the Pyramids.’

And while the pair appeared happy, Susannah has previously admitted she and her husband didn’t speak for six months after getting married – and she feared she’d made ‘the biggest mistake of her life’.

She claimed she had to ‘drag’ him down the aisle in a recent edition of her My Wardrobe Malfunction podcast.

Speaking to actress and writer Daisy May Cooper during her most recent podcast, Susannah told how their marriage got off to a rocky start.

Following Daisy’s admission that she is nostalgic for her childhood and would go back to the summer of 1996 if she had a time machine, Susannah said: ‘I’d just got married in 1996.’

Asked if it was a ‘good summer’, Susannah replied: ‘No it was awful. After we got married I thought I’d made the biggest mistake of my life.

‘My husband, we didn’t speak to each other for about six months, literally, and I had to drag him down the aisle kicking and screaming.’

Susannah went on: ‘One night, it was just before Christmas weirdly, we both woke up at about 4 o’clock in the morning, we looked at each other, and we both said, “It’s going to be OK.” It was so weird. From then on, 25 years later, we’re still married.’

Susannah had a ‘small’ wedding with around 60 people in attendance.

In response, Daisy admitted: ‘I find weddings really f****** stressful, I hated my own wedding.’

Susannah was very much an ‘It Girl’ in the 1980s, and even dated Princess Margaret’s son, David, Viscount Linley for eight years.

The podcast host also dated cricketer Imran Khan in the 1990s, who went on to be the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Susannah worked in America for designer Giorgio Armani before working for John Galliano in London.

The presenter met long-term pal Trinny Woodall in 1994 and they began writing a weekly fashion column, Ready To Wear, and founded Ready2shop.com.

They became famous for co-hosting the popular TV series What Not To Wear from 2001 to 2005.
