Four workers have suffered facial injuries after an explosion rocked a factory in Queensland.
Emergency services were alerted to the Bundaberg Brewed Drinks facility on Kay McDuff Drive in Thabeban, south of Bundaberg, at just past 2pm on Monday.
The four contractors had been installing a boiler before the explosion erupted and the sprinkler system was triggered.

They have been transported to Bundaberg Hospital, according to a spokesperson for the Queensland Ambulance Service.
One of the four workers has been left in a serious condition with respiratory concerns, while the other three are in a stable condition.
A spokesperson for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) said all workers are currently accounted for during their first check, however found no evidence of a fire.
A second check of the factory is set to commence this afternoon.
Reports from both QFES and Queensland Police indicate the explosion was triggered by a gas leak.
Bundaberg Brewed Drinks chief executive John McLean confirmed an ‘explosion event’ had occurred at the site.
The factory makes popular drinks including ginger beer and lemon, lime bitters.
